DMX album retooled
DMX will make his run at a sixth straight No. 1 debut later this summer with Year of the Dog, Again. Originally titled Here We Go, Again, the album has been given a makeover by longtime Ruff Ryders collaborator Swizz Beatz and will be released by Sony Music instead of Def Jam. X made it known during an NBA All-Star Weekend performance in Houston that he has no love left for his old label, cursing them between renditions of classics like "Get at Me Dog" and the first single from Again, "We in Here." DMX was given a special honor at the Billboard Awards in January 2000 for having his first four albums debut at No. 1, and 2003's Grand Champ made it five straight, but since then X hasn't been heard from.
