Biggie's 'Duets' platinum
The Notorious B.I.G.'s Duets: The Final Chapter has been certified platinum by the RIAA for U.S. sales of more than one million units. Released on Dec. 20, the album topped Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart for seven consecutive weeks and debuted and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The collection pairs Biggie's archived vocals with several of today's top MCs as well as artists from other genres. Big Pun, 2Pac, Jay-Z, Redman, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Nelly, Scarface, T.I., R. Kelly, Faith Evans, Bob Marley, Korn, and, of course, Puff Daddy are among those that make appearances. This is Biggie's fourth album to go platinum, all posthumous releases except for 1994's Ready to Die. Latest news...
