React: Is Jay-Z's comeback a good idea?

DMX's driving troubles continue
DMX was stopped on the Saw Mill River Parkway yesterday in Yonkers, N.Y., and was charged with a misdemeanor and two infractions. Police pulled X over because a check of his plates revealed that his 2001 Chevrolet Suburban had not been inspected, his registration was suspended because of parking violations and he was driving without a license. "He was fully cooperative," Lt. Henry Cetina of the Westchester County police told the Journal News. X's vehicle was impounded and he will face a misdemeanor suspended registration chargeand unlicensed-operation charge and an uninspected-vehicle charge in court on Dec. 18. This is just the latest in DMX's many recent brushes with the law over traffic violations. In June, X had two traffic incidents in 10 days in White Plains, N.Y. DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, received several tickets June 2 for excessive speeding and for driving on a suspended license. Then on June 11, X was ticketed for driving on the shoulder of the road and driving with a suspended license after getting in a car accident. In the first case, DMX turned down a plea bargain, telling reporters, "I don't feel good about this at all. It's not fair -- $25,000 for traffic tickets? Come on. Let's keep it real."
