React: Is Jay-Z's comeback a good idea?

Fabolous shot, arrested in New York
As if getting shot wasn't enough, Fabolous was arrested Tuesday while fleeing the gunman. According to the Associated Press, Fabolous was shot early Tuesday at a Manhattan parking garage and was hospitalized in stable condition. Police spokesman Sgt. Mike Wysokowski said the MC was standing in the garage when a man with a gun approached him and three others and opened fire, hitting Fabolous once in the thigh. The four fled in a vehicle, but ran a red light, attracting the attention of police. Officers stopped the vehicle Fabolous was riding in and discovered two loaded, unlicensed guns inside. All four men were arrested and Fabolous was taken to the hospital. Charges are pending as police continue their search for the shooter. Fabolous, whose hits include, "Trade It All," "Breathe" and "Can't Deny It," recently took part in the taping of the third annual VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, which air Tuesday night. Def Jam representatives were not returning requests for comment early Tuesday. The label is producing his next album, due in December.
