Record: 8-13, third by quarter-point average in National Conference of a 10-team league that suspended operations in midseason.

Rebounding leaders: Coker 11.8, Thomas 6.2, Eric Kubel 6.0.

Year in review: Bob Thornton, an eight-year NBA veteran, became the third head coach in Thunder history after Dan Panaggio resigned in October to become as assistant at Indiana University. ... Thomas, who led the league in scoring when the CBA went down, and Garner, whose 4.4 steals average would be a new CBA record, were named midseason All-Stars. ... Coker spent a month with the NBA’s Golden State Warriors after starting the season here. ... Former Thunder star Jimmy King scored a career-high 47 points to lead Gary past the Thunder in its last game in the Quad-Cities.
